The Benton Area Service Intervention and Collaboration (B.A.S.I.C.) Partnership
The B.A.S.I.C. Partnership is modeled after the Service Integration Team (SIT) approach, uniting community partners including social services, behavioral health providers, school districts, and public safety organizations to address complex cases and streamline support for rural residents. Through these structured meetings, participating agencies can securely share information and collaborate to assist individuals who require help across multiple support networks.
Managed and run by Crossroads Communities, B.A.S.I.C. supports households facing instability who just need a temporary boost to get back on track. By pinpointing immediate needs, sharing resources, and crafting targeted solutions, the partnership helps prevent families from slipping further into crisis. B.A.S.I.C. serves as the sister program to L.A.S.A.R., our established partnership in Linn County.
Please note: Due to our service model and specific funding guidelines, our program does not cover the city of Corvallis itself.
What the Partnership Supports
Funding & Emergency Assistance
Benefit Fund: Request up to $500 to address one-time client needs, such as rental assistance, moving costs, car repairs, or pet care. Additionally, partners are welcome to request one-time funds to support their own client-facing initiatives. Because funding choices are made collaboratively, every BASIC partner serves on the decision-making committee which is what makes this a true partnership.
Crossroads Communities has been authorized by the Intercommunity Health Network (IHN-CCO) to manage the funding for the BASIC Partnership. We will go over eligibility requirements and the application process during our upcoming meetings.

- Basic Needs: Food, clothing, prescriptions, personal items
- Community Development: Community events and activities
- Education: Classes, tuition, fees, and adult or children's literacy programs
- Extracurricular Activities: Fees, materials, clothing, or shoes needed to participate
- Youth Development: Leadership and learning opportunities beyond regular school programs
